On Saturday, November 15th, the FOE 370 will present it’s
first “Comedy Night.” We will have two comedians coming in
for an evening of fun and laughter. The opener is John
Garret, who is a former CPA (accountant). He has a unique
brand of humor and has credits including Comedy Central, The
Bob and Tom Show and numerous large comedy venues across the
United States.
The headliner is Mike Armstrong, a former Kentucky Police
Officer, who is a regular on The Bob and Tom Show, had his
own special on Comedy Central, and brings a variety of
stories and humor to his act. Both comedians are top shelf,
and our members and guests will enjoy them and their brand
of humor.
The cost is $13 per ticket, not including food and drinks;
however a table of 8 people can be reserved for $100. Dinner
is a limited menu. Food cannot be brought over from the Club
side and no one will be allowed to move from room-to-room.
There will be a full bar, and employees to serve you.
Tickets can be purchased from Ron or Diann in the Manager’s
office. We are looking forward to a great show. Doors will
open at 6:00 p.m. for dinner and the show starts at 8:00
p.m.
This is an effort on the part of the Board to bring top
quality entertainment that is different than the same old
thing. In addition, our members will see Saturday night
entertainment changing with music geared toward 50s, 60s,
70s and 80s music and new country and variety bands. This
will start occurring in the late fall, in time for the
winter season of dances. Plus, the Jimmy Buffett night and
the other special dances we do. We want our members who like
other kinds of music to feel at home here also. We have also
decided to bring some different evenings here, such as disc
jockeys, karaoke nights and other different entertainment.
What has always been done in regards to entertainment hasn’t
been working, so let’s do something different and better.
This is
what we owe our members, we need to change with the times.
