From the Desk of the Auxiliary President
Just to remind everyone that our dues are
now due!
A great bigh Thank You to Janice
Spence for making the lighthouse pins for our Diabetes Fund.
Having been named Diabetes Chairman for Northwest Ohio Zone,
this big job will take all the help I can get. If anyone has
any ideas to help raise money, please share them with me
(419-221-2653).
Prep Meeting for the Fall Zone Conference is
at Ashland on Saturday, August 23rd at 1:00 p.m. with a
joint meeting with the Men at 2:00 p.m. The Fall Zone
Conference will be in Ashland on Saturday, October 11th and
Sunday, October 12th.
The next Joint Officers meeting with the
Aerie is Tuesday, September 30th at 6:30 p.m.
Congratulations to Polly Mangold of Leipsic
for being elected District Leader of District 24.
The District Meeting for September 6th will
be held at the Columbus Grove Aerie at 7:00 p.m.
We had a very good attendance at the
District Meeting and have managed to hold onto the plaque
for attendance so far this year. Great job!
If you have a new suggestion for a By-Law or
a possible improvement to an existing By-law, please turn it
in to Donna Longmeier, chairperson; or her committee
members, Frannie Esmonde or JoAnn Rhodes for consideration.
Thanks to
everyone who visited me, sent cards and those who called and
all the prayers while I was in the hospital. It was so
appreciated and heartwarming.
